The time has finally arrived! Tamaraneh Society’s long awaited annual fundraiser will take place on Saturday, January 31 at the Ukrainian Centre on 11018-97 Street, Edmonton, Alberta from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. We have a wonderful program with African and Jamaican food for dinner, dramatic enactments, African music and much more!

The teachers and children of the Alberta Canada Schools in Romano village are counting on Canadians to help out. We want to build several new water wells and provide the junior high school with badly needed books and equipment for all their subjects, especially science. The need is great, and encouraged by our commitment to their well- being, local people work very hard to bring projects to success. If the people from Canada and Sierra Leone keep working side by side, we can do great things.
