Partner School - Sir George Simpson

An amazing group of students at Sir George Simpson school in Edmonton made it their goal to raise enough funds to build a school in Sierra Leone, contribute to the Tamaraneh Foundation for school supplies and bring Mariatu Kamara, amputee to the school from Toronto to talk to the students.

The goal was achieved with 8 social justice students, three teachers and a whole school of volunteers! They raised funds by taking a vow of silence and getting people to sponsor them for 24 hours of not having a voice.
