Over the past five years, the Tamaraneh Society has built, staffed and run two schools (1,200 children and 24 teachers with support staff), dug one water well, provided seeds for three community gardens; construction of a health centre is nearly completed and we have official status as an NGO with the Sierra Leonean government.

All of this is only possible through your continued support. We hold an annual fundraiser each year but donations are always welcome. Several members of the community have organized independent fundraisers and donated the proceeds to Tamaraneh. Making a donation online

We have registered a giving page through Canada Helps. Make your donation online at your convenience and you will receive a tax receipt for your charitable donation from our partner, Change for Children.

Monthly automatic donations

If you would like to set up a monthly donation, you can do so online through the Change for Children portal. To access their online giving page, click here and be sure to indicate that you are giving to Tamaraneh. Alternatively, you can download their donor form and send it to their office with a cheque.
